2. Acceptance and Changes to Terms
By using the Website, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. We may modify these Terms at any time; revised Terms are effective upon posting. Continued use of the Website after posting constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be indicated by an updated Effective Date at the top of this page.
3. Eligibility and Age Requirement

When you submit a quote-request form, your information is routed to one independent licensed insurance agent — the same agent whose profile is displayed to you on the quote form at the time of submission. This is a contractual commitment, not an aspirational mission statement:
- Your information is not distributed to multiple agents, ping/post lead auctions, or marketing lists.
- Your information is not re-sold, re-brokered, or redistributed to third parties beyond those described in the Privacy Policy.
- If we change this practice in the future, we will notify you and obtain renewed consent before applying the change to any information you submitted under the prior practice.
6. Compensation Disclosure
Addison Myers Group LLC is compensated by the independent licensed agent who accepts your referral. You are never charged for using the Website. This compensation does not affect your quoted rates (which are set solely by the carrier) and is paid regardless of whether you ultimately purchase a policy.
7. No Advisory or Fiduciary Relationship
Your use of the Website does not create any fiduciary, principal-agent, attorney-client, broker-client, insurance-producer/customer, or professional-advisory relationship between you and Addison Myers Group LLC. Any such relationship — to the extent one is formed — exists solely between you and the independent licensed agent to whom your referral is routed.
8. No Insurance Contract Formed by Use of the Website
Submitting a form, requesting a quote, or any other interaction with the Website does not bind coverage, form an insurance contract, or create any obligation of any insurance carrier to issue a policy. Policy issuance requires a formal application, underwriting, and acceptance by a licensed carrier — none of which occurs on this Website.
Rates, coverage amounts, premium estimates, product descriptions, and comparison charts displayed on the Website are illustrative only, based on aggregate market data or industry averages, and are not guarantees of what any specific carrier will offer to you. Your actual quote depends on age, health, product selection, coverage amount, carrier underwriting, and other factors determined by the carrier.
9. Agent Verification — Consumer Responsibility
We encourage every consumer to independently verify any agent's license status before providing sensitive information beyond the initial referral or signing any insurance policy. You can verify licenses at your state Department of Insurance website or at nipr.com. Addison Myers Group LLC is not liable for the acts or omissions of any independent agent, which are governed by that agent's state licensing and professional obligations.
10. Carrier Names and Trademarks
Carrier names, logos, product names, and trademarks displayed on the Website are shown for informational purposes only. lifeinsuranceagentsasheville.com is not affiliated with, endorsed by, appointed by, or officially connected to any insurance company mentioned. All trademarks, service marks, and trade names are the property of their respective owners.
11. TCPA Consent and SMS Communications
By checking the consent box and submitting a quote-request form, you provide prior express written consent under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) to receive calls and text messages (SMS/MMS) — including via automated telephone dialing systems, pre-recorded voice messages, and artificial voice messages — from Addison Myers Group LLC and the one licensed agent assigned to your referral, at the phone number you provided.
Consent is not a condition of purchase. You may obtain a quote by calling a licensed agent directly. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text message. Reply HELP for support. Message and data rates may apply. Full TCPA disclosures and one-to-one consent terms are in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated here by reference.
12. Intellectual Property
All content on the Website — including text, graphics, layout, logos, trademarks, and branding elements — is the property of Addison Myers Group LLC or its licensors and is protected under U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws. AGGREGATE LIABILITY CAP. 17. Binding Arbitration and Class Action Waiver
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY — THIS SECTION AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS.
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Website, any referral, or any communications with Addison Myers Group LLC (including TCPA claims, privacy claims, and claims related to the lead-referral process) shall be resolved exclusively by final and binding individual arbitration, administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, before one arbitrator. The seat of arbitration shall be Asheville, North Carolina, or by video conference at the claimant's election. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Class-action and jury-trial waiver. You and Addison Myers Group LLC waive any right to a jury trial and any right to bring claims as a class, collective, or representative action. Claims may be brought only in your individual capacity. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims and may not otherwise preside over any form of representative or class proceeding. If this class-waiver clause is found unenforceable, then the entire arbitration clause is void and disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts identified in Section 18.
Small-claims carve-out. Either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court for disputes within that court's jurisdictional limits instead of arbitration.
30-day opt-out. You may opt out of this arbitration clause by sending written notice to hello@lifeinsuranceagentsasheville.com with the subject line "Arbitration Opt-Out" within 30 days of your first use of the Website. The notice must include your full name, mailing address, email, and a clear statement that you wish to opt out.
18. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles, except that the Federal Arbitration Act governs the interpretation and enforcement of Section 17. For any claim not subject to arbitration, the exclusive venue shall be the state or federal courts located in Buncombe County, North Carolina, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
19. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed or modified to the minimum extent necessary; the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
20. Entire Agreement
These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Addison Myers Group LLC regarding the Website and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications, agreements, or understandings.
21. Force Majeure
Addison Myers Group LLC is not liable for any failure or delay in performance due to events outside its reasonable control, including natural disasters, acts of war or terrorism, labor disputes, government actions, internet outages, or vendor failures.
22. Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. Addison Myers Group LLC may assign these Terms without restriction, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or corporate restructuring.
23. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Website at any time, for any reason, without notice. Sections 4, 6, 10, 12–20 survive termination.
24. Notice to California Residents
